Next course of action for JBP?

Not sure I understand the reasoning behind cutting the candles in half on a weak pine.
I'd leave the tree alone and fertilize heavily in the fall to build up strength for next year. This tree is still in development so decandling isn't really in the scope of work yet unless for energy balancing purpose.

Oh Im not gonna decandle this year I was just asking to see if anyone recommended it and since no one did I am following advice.
