Nothing is wrong except the amount of time it takes to get from point A to point B. Pine seeds are really good to eat. In point of fact the South Western cliff dwelling Indians depended on the pine seed crop to survive.

I've depended on them a day or two in the wild. BTW there are tricks you can use to make the green ones not give you the scoots.
