I've just purchased a Hollywood Juniper, 4-5 feet tall. I'm wondering how long do I need to wait, before trimming the tree, and potting it?

Pictures would help as would a general location -US state, country etc. can’t help much if you don’t provide either as this kind of work depends on climate and an idea of how healthy the tree is

I I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I've ordered the Juniper, but have not received it yet. I'm trying to get ahead of it's arrival,in order to insure that I have everything that I need.

Nah... just a misunderstanding. Post some pictures when you get it. But you should really update your profile to give your location and USDA zone.
It helps the experts here give you more detailed information about how to work with your tree, pretty important. But mostly, no one is trying to be hard on you,
, they just need more info to be able to help you. Post pictures when you have time.
