Hi Sam, yes i'm still with rainbow bonsai club. I kinda been outta bonsai for a bit (been busy, work & other distractions) plants are all full with weeds. I will be attending the clubs monthly meeting tomorrow for the first time in 6 months! I will mention your stands at the meeting for sure & tell everyone you said hello from Kauai.

today's wood projects included, rough carved 2 pre cut koa blanks for root stands. cut 4 new koa blanks for textured edge display boards. rough carved 2 textured edge display boards. using new techniques constructing the margins of the display boards. the look is improving

more wood projects just completed before the next batch starts. hardly any time for bonsai nowadays. although I just dug a nice pyracantha, a slash pine and cork bark oak the other day. still soaking. gotta plant soon.
