So i bought this pot from a guy from spain trough the internet, he had a pot for sale i liked but it was sold so he send me some pictures and he had one i liked allot
i bought the pot for 95 euro even if i am unsure about the maker of the pot i still liked it and for me its worth what i payed...
however why i make this thread, the seller thinks it is a "touyou" pot but is not 100% sure so if he is not sure i can not be certain also....
ive been doing some research and on japanesebonsaipots.net i cant seem to find the marking ill continue my search but perhaps someone here can help identifying it or point me in the right direction!
this is the marking on my pot at the bottom next to a "feet"

Very nice pot but I don't think it is a Touyou pot because the chop is different than the chops mentioned on the websites below.

See the links below for the Touyou / Matsumoto Takeshi chops.

Thank you for the links.
i will keep searching the mark must belong to someone but anyway i do like the pot and thats what matters most haha

the seller is off the mark - you've got an Ittoen pot by kataoka toshio, last of the three yamaaki potters and the only potter of the kiln he started. toshio is a respectable tokoname potter, and I'd say you paid a good price for it (depending on size). nice patina, the workmanship looks better than his typical production ware, and side stamps are typically less common. I'd rather have this than a production gyouzan, which typically go for a few hundred USD.

ah amazing !
i am not sure if i would have found this information myself so much appriciated and thanks allot for this!
the size of the pot is about 26 cm diameter on the inside and about 5-6 cm deep the pot now holds a tree as that was the intention why i bought it in the first place and it looks real nice so for me its money well spent even if i wouldnt know the potter.
but again thnx for the help identifying this pot!
