Patience is an Art
Sapling
I had to dig up these two Spirea, thanks to a groundhog digging a hole right through them last year. So far I’ve just potted as is, as I was being chased by a thunderstorm. Should I just leave them like this till next Spring? Clean them up a bit? As you can see there is quite a bit of growth at the base, but there is growth coming further up on the smaller trunk of the big one. I would guesstimate these are about 15 years old.
