I posted the Majestic Beauty olive after a quick harvest from a whiskey barrel last winter, Nice roots but almost no foliage.
After spending the fall and summer pruning out the dead branches and getting water and fertilizer it looks like this.
The base has multiple large stems...
So, roots before shoots, right?
Roots are healthy but the plant is too large. I would like to get the plant into a smaller pot but I can wait if I can do the shoot reduction first.
Can I cut the stems back to 3-4" sometime this spring?
