Nice tree, i miss the overall shot. Looks to have relative small needles.
Grafted...But of the maybe dozens I've seen in person, this one had a very nicely done graft! Sometimes you see them and they look pretty ridiculous at the base like a funnel shape!Nice tree. Grown from cutting? Graft?
Thanks. Never seen a piece like this one. Ever. Yep, I plan on doing a little wiring between now and spring! I will post an update- IF I do a good enough job!Anymore where this one came from? Holy shit!!!

Wow, awesome trees, less awesome prices
In the US, the price of imported bonsai trees is very high, and I think this is due to import restrictions. The US has really strict quarantine rules and all imported material is probably so expensive due to the time needed to quarantine them.Wow, awesome trees, less awesome prices
If the branch has significant cork, you can wire it, but NOT bend it. The cork bark will pop right off! Thanks. Never seen a piece like this one. Ever. Yep, I plan on doing a little wiring between now and spring! I will post an update- IF I do a good enough job!
Yep yep this isn't my only corker, but it's the best one I've got..! I will post up more pics after I wire it up between now- spring. If the branch has significant cork, you can wire it, but NOT bend it. The cork bark will pop right off!
The time to wire is the new shoots, before they develop cork.
