Just got my mom in assisted living. I need to liquidate a big home and all historical fam stuff. Will be using an estate company for gutting. I need a trailer or temporary storage to separate my keepers.

Have any experience/cost info with the PODs or Upack loadable storage containers?

Vs…a you load it up truck trailer??

Recent experiences?? I don’t have enough items requiring a full service co.

In N/W florida I used packrat 18' pod, they bring it out right when you need it no problem for about $350 and about $350 -$400 to store it for a month and bring it back. It was all real smooth except when you try and get it back they don't tell you that the month was from drop off to pick up so really you only got about two or so weeks to keep it in storage till you go over your month and the return dates are not usually available so you go over your month that way too. Just some little details they don't tell you till the end so the whole process is closer to around $750 instead of the $500 they said when you first call.
