Misting system question

I'm setting up a misting system in my greenhouse frame that has a shade cloth instead of plastic in the summer. It will draw water with a pump and timer from a 40 gallon reservoir. My water is very hard and has a pH a little over 8. Any benefit in using vinegar to drop this to 7 in my reservoir?

Couldn't hurt any; however, you will need to become "friendly" with a jeweler.
Every few weeks take your heads out, flush the lines, take the heads to a jeweler
and have them ultra-sonically cleaned to prevent buildup from clogging them.
At least that's the way I do it.
