Mango tree disease

Hey guys,

I'm living in Japan and I managed to get a mango seed from my favorite Miyakojima mango farm.

It grew pretty well and it's still growing but a black goo has started to settle on the leaves / branches. Since it's winter in Tokyo it is indoors since November.

I don't really want to loose this beautiful plant and I hope you can tell me what kind of disease this is and how to treat.

It has started to loose a few leaves on the bottom too ;/

Obviously they're selling mango to eat not to grow..

I guess I presumed too much from your use of the word "farm".
