Being close to southern Nevada and California makes it hard to find hardy species suitable for the mountains where I live, but the upside is a decent selection of succulents, like this big dwarf jade I picked up last year.
The height as it stands is roughly 14 inches, after chopping off most of the plant which lives on as a little forest I might post another time.
I am really stuck on two decisions - (1) whether to remove the first branch, which is very low, and (2) whether to chop the apex lower. Note the current state is a very rough prune, to leave options for myself
