Hello,

thanks for everybody keeping this place active.

I am relatively new to bonsai and I have a few trees already that are growing quite nice (including maples). Learning to wire them and make what I really like.

I was specifically fascinated by "arakawa" type maples, but I really struggle to find some specimens online. I would be more willing to get young tree and grow myself (instead of spending thousands for developed one). Also, not sure if that is possible, but I would like non-grafted tree.

Does anyone know trusted source to get one? I am living in EU.

Thanks.

I am layering arakawa as well as nishiki gawa, but will be over a year before I have those available..
Just sold my last established nishiki gawa this weekend.

I bought mine at esveld.

I might have some cuttings at the end of the summer, but I'm not actively investing time in them so the chance that they live is slim.

Thanks for response. Sad to hear, nishiki gawa would have been even better... If you have one still.. I would be happy to take care of it.

Thanks for reply. I will check that source. Appreciate that.

Hi,
I have some Arakawa and Nishiki Gawa cuttings from last season. They've already been through one repotting and root pruning this February.
I'm located in Poland — feel free to message me at info@arakawa-bonsai.com for more info or pictures if you're interested.
