Looking for advice for my New Bonsai's

Hey Bonsai Nut's!

I just got into Bonsai's a few months ago when I purchased Hawaiian Umbrella and a small Bougie. Unfortunately, the bougie started to droop severely and drop leaves and after 2 weeks of attempted revival, I donated it back to the sanctuary (I didn't want to do it any more harm).

The Umbrella has been doing fine (besides dropping few leaves, but nothing harmful). I also just got 2 new small Fukien Teas. Since I'm in zone 6a and the fall nights are cold, I have them indoor currently getting afternoon sun from 12pm - 4/5pm. I know Fukiens can be tricky, especially when indoors. Any advice on how to keep them alive, or if the setup I have will work for them?

Also looking for any watering advice too. Would misting the three of these guys be beneficial?

Growing bonsai indoors which appears is what you are doing is problematic. I do not pretend to fully appreciate the process. However I understand that knowing how you are watering is going to be important and what part on the planet you live. Even climate can make a difference in growing indoors because of light.

As for your trees: what you call an Hawaiian umbrella is in fact a schefflera and what you call a 'bougie' looks to me like a Chinese privet.

For the schefflera normally you shouldn't have any trouble growing it indoor during winter (although the best is to put it outside as soon as spring will come back, mine is still going outdoor during the warmest days right now and it lives in IL). However as long as it's warm enough with light in its present indoor set-up it should be fine.

For what seems to me as a privet: I don't think it should be indoor at all. I'm far from being a specialist of them privets but here is a very general little guideline:

May be that's why it doesn't seem so happy right now.

I have no clue whatsoever about the fukien tea cares.

I can't see the first picture well, but I'd say you've got three Fukien tea trees. And check the white stuff - insects? on the leaves from the bottom side.

Your biggest enemy now is over-watering. Your trees came with poor-draining soil. Learn the chopstick method of checking your moisture level. And I would recommend removing all that junk sitting on your soil. That will just make your job much harder.

Fukien are finicky when it comes to light and water demands. You might be in a rough spot with those, especially starting out. Not a great starter indoor tree IMO.

The Schefflera is basically a tank. Just keep in mind they look like a rainforest tree that wants to be moist but they actually like to be on the dry side. I mist both my Fukien and Scheflerra. If you get the humidity right and have a good tree, the Schefflera will push aerial roots.

An inexpensive grow light from Wal-Mart would probably be good. Lights of America and it's like 11 bucks.

I would remove the glued on gravel. This way you can check the soil before watering.
