Is anyone willing to part with their copy of Bonsai from the Wild: Collecting, Styling & Caring for Bonsai. I am having a really hard time finding a copy. Please let me know if you have one and want to sell it tom me.

I found one on eBay for a reasonable price a while ago. There's none available right now (except one copy that some joker has listed for over $500) but that's where I'd keep checking periodically.

Wow, on Amazon $375 and up from four sellers. I paid $20 for it in 2012.

I would probably just take a photocopy of all the pages related to American larch and Pitch Pine at this point. I would rather spend 375$ on a nice tree/pot.

Wouldn't photocopy it. It's copyrighted. This one of those books you have to keep an eye out for and act quickly. I've got an original copy and a copy of the reprint--got both when they were initially printed -- The reprint has supplemented information on species and a few additional species profiled. The original is probably pricier, because, well, it's the original run of the book. Keep watching on book sites, bonsai auctions and the like. It comes up, sometimes for less than $100.

Would love to see some of the OOP classics released as affordable e-books...
(In case anybody with pull is reading this thread!)

This. I care very little about owning the book, just looking for the knowledge inside them.
