Just "hedge-trimmed" this Acer p. 'Little Princess'. Will never be an "excelent" bonsai, but it's a favourite for my non-specialist friends.

Imperial Masterpiece
It's actualyy one of the "Hime" family. This cultivar is known as 'Mapi no Machi Hime', which, according to Vertrees & Gregory means about thye same as "little princess". "Hime" : princess, pretty, little from what I read in the list of Japanese word at the end of their book.
