Little Baobab tree

Yesterday i went for dogfood to a garden centre and on the way to checkout i spotted this little baobab tree.... i just couldnt leave it behind so i took it home!

It was in wet potting soil and a quick readup i learn they dont like wet feet so i potted it up in a small pot with inorganic substrate.
I dont know much about these species so ill have to do homework and search for information so if anyone has experience or know good articles please share them with me!

I recently had some seeds gifted to me, so i'll one day be in the same boat (hopefully.
My knowledge is limited to them basically being giant succulents, but not very helpful i know

Ive just got someone indentify mine as adenium obesum so a desert rose
It looks similar but it is not baobab
