Another newbe thread. Sorry for trash cell phone pics. Never though I would need a real camera when I started digging up little trees.
I want to start documenting some of my favorite trees early on in my bonsai endeavors. Even if it's small insignificant stuff it might be nice to look back on my successes and failures from my early years.
Anyways, this was probably one of the first 20 trees I collected early last spring. Early for Alaska at least, I'm sure most people here were well I to the growing season by the time.
The base is probably my favorite part of this tree. Maybe next year I'll repot it on a tile or something to try and flatten out the base. Who knows, I've got time.

I'm not really attached to 2 out of 3 of the smaller trunks but when I cover them up to see the tree without them it looks naked. One died back a bit so chances are I'll have remove it at sooner rather than later.
I don't particularly like that u shape on the larger left trunk in this pic. I'll remove the branch growing towards the middle at some point too. The small left trunk should fill that empty space eventually.

From the other side. The more I look at it the more I dislike the planting angle. Bring that center trunk slightly closer to vertical next repot.
