Lavigne Ilex schillings

Purchased this from Adam Lavigne's nursery while on vacation in Florida a few weeks ago. He brought it with him to the workshop he did with the Columbus Bonsai Society this past weekend and he helped me do the initial "bone identification." I like the picture he put on Facebook. (The one with my staged initial reaction.)

I'm excited that he spent the time helping me to get it started. Here are the first set of pics.

Nice, it's always a bit of a shock, reducing a bush to a tree. Should do fine and bounce back hopefully with buds in all the right places. Timing is good for this.
