Laurel Oak - Guy Guidry workshop

Yesterday I went to Wigert's bonsai in Ft. Myer's FL for an Oak workshop with Guy Guidry. This was my first Oak and my first "big" bonsai. I was very excited to see carving in person and learn how it could be incorporated into my trees overall design.
The workshop with Guy as excellent. I bought my 12-year-old son with me. Guy did a great job teaching both of us. Overall I was very pleased.

Very nice tree. Good thing you took the son along. He will need to know how to take care of it when he's an old man.
