I have the following large(roughly 32x32x9) Fuji Shohin stand w/matching maeoki slab stand. This was 100% made and assembled by me in my shop, from resawing and prepping rough lumber to the finish. All mortise and tenon joinery w/ picture frame panels. Made of local black cherry, stained a deep rosewood red color and finished w/water based poly, this stand will last a lifetime with proper care.

I’m not offering shipping right now. However, this will be coming with me to the National this year in Rochester. If you’d like it, I will bring it to you there. If you’d choose to buy it and can’t bring it back from the national, I will consider shipping paid by the buyer including packing, as I should build a full sized box for it, which will not be cheap, so best to arrange transport from the national.
I’m asking $1200 as an early bird special, as in, sold and paid for before the national. My normal price for this stand pair is 1400

The second photo is the stand on display at my local club show

Isn't large shohin stand an oxymoron? ;) Seriously, nice stand.
Thanks!!!
Haha yes, I poked Jonas of Bonsai tonight’s brain a while back and he explained generally there are three size classes of stand in Japan, all in CM of course, 60,70 and 80. This is a few inches larger than the 80cm size as I like to see a little bit more room around trees, a more traditional and older Japanese aesthetic, and Americans tend to like big little trees, if that makes sense lol

Im also open to offers. I have Two other Fuji stands im bringing that are smaller, and an assortment of other stands, and unfortunately for me, I only registered for one table, so ill be taking lots of trips to the car to restock, If I can find a home for the larger one, I could make room for Two smaller ones
