I've got a Japanese larch that has its needles turning yellow as well. I think it's because of the heat we had the last couple of weeks and not enough water honestly.
Larch do grow in bogs although this might be species specific (Tamarack-eastern US larch).
Had it happen before. The buds all still look good so I'm not terribly worried yet. However I did move mine to a more shady spot.

My American and Japanese larch are in the midst of growth flushes right now. Actually my Japanese larches have never stopped putting out new growth and I prune them back every couple of weeks. The American larch put out a good spring flush then went more or less dormant in June/July and are popping buds again. I have them in morning sun and afternoon shade and water liberally every morning. I think the yellow tips are heat stress although if you messed with the roots this spring that may have weakened them, they are very sensitive.

I noticed something similar on a few that had serious reports with the heat wave. I think it’s a lack of water. Shifted things so they only get 4 hours of direct sun and dappled the remainder of the day. New growth seems OK so far but time will tell
These are Western larches that are having the problem per photos. I have other smaller Westerns that are growing well and not having the same problem, and they are getting about the same sun. I also have some smaller Japanese larch that are doing well and still growing every day it seems like. I did not mess with the roots at all last fall or this spring. If I feel down inside the pots on the larger ones with the problem, they are damp. I am beginning to think the heat into mid/high 90's and maybe a root problem.

Hey man well it depends… Sometimes the tips get like that from sun damage but when the leaves get droopy it looks like too much water.
I think for years I had my larch in a bad spot (full sun, hot) and it wasn’t growing too well. When it gets full/half sun on the leaves and the pot is shaded it’s very happy. I’ve had a good summer growth this year
