Good evening from Florida nuts. I would like to get some advice and tips on how best to accomplish my first literati bonsai. I have this little kishu and need your help! I received this tree from EvergreenGardenWorks last November. When it first arrived it was in its winter color but now has the turned a beautiful green. I followed mr Brents suggestion to leave it in its container and let it "acclimate". I've just watered it and gave it some fert and put it aside. I believe it's doin pretty well so im thinking about the next several years and what id like to accomplish with this tree. I really love the literati look on these trees and would like to pursue this path. Anyone with experience shaping trees in this style pls chime in. If yall dont think this is the tree for this style pls let me know that as well. But if this style is obtainable for me pls tell me my best first approach. Id really like to get this goin. As I understand it literati dont necessarily need large trunk calipers. I know this is a young tree but im hoping that there's a process for this style that I can go ahead a proceed with. If not yall just let me know!
