Kingsville Boxwood leaves turning brown and falling off but has new growth?

as said in the title I recently bought a kingsville boxwood and I believe I let it dry out but it has new growth so I’m confused on if I can revive the browning leaves or if I have to start from scratch?

Water thoroughly when soil is dry top half inch dry , or weather is hot. Keep it outside, shade for now. You still have green leaves so there's hope. Brown leaves will not revive, but will fall off on their own. Make sure it drains well.
