Katsura JMaple.

I had this katsura in a shady spot for most of the summer until September when I got a frame and 50% shade clothed the full frame.

Since the frame it's been in full sun (the scorch was there before hand..) What has thrown me for a loop as to if it's healthy or not is my new growth has a blushing effect of deep purple. Is that normal for katsura?


There's a pic of two sides of the same whip.... it's certainly a blushing effect????

Not sure. YOu say it is in full sun, yet it is in a fram with a shade cloth?
My katsura is in full sun period.

True... I have some hardcore wind where I am in Cartersville,GA So cloth helps cut down on that effect also
