Hi Lutonian, I'm in the UK and have just picked up a P.Japonica from David Cheshire, have you got any advice? I'd mostly just like to get it through the winter!

Hi Lutonian, I'm in the UK and have just picked up a P.Japonica from David Cheshire, have you got any advice? I'd mostly just like to get it through the winter!

I put mine in a unheated garage if there is going to be anything under - 4c or if there going to be a prolonged freeze then when the weather picks up it goes back on the bench. I moved mine on to someone else. as the smell of the leaves gave me a headache.
