Sapling
So my mother wants to get rid of a large juniper in her garden. It is about 12 feet high, but has a large straight twin trunk. Most of the junipers I see are very curvy and winding with a lot of deadwood so I'm not sure if this is workable material. I want to cut it down to about 2 feet high, put it in a pond basket and see if it survives. The trunk is at least 6" in diameter (main trunk), although it's hard to see on the pictures. I think it's a juniperus sabina. Anyway: yay or nay?
