Juniper scale?

Hey guys I'm pretty sure this is juniper scale correct? I was admiring the hundreds of little growing points on my juniper today and noticed a small section of the tree had these guys on it.

Wanted to see what you guys have had the best experience with killing them

Scale, pick them off, dab the areas with rubbing alcohol.

I got some of these on some Blue Rugs I have. Hit em with insecticidal soap this morning, I'll try rub alcohol next if that doesn't work.

Squishing them with your thumb nail is time consuming but very satisfying!
