Hi, just wanted to share a couple pictures of some seedlings I have growing. I collected seeds from a Shishigashira in the fall. I've found that most of these trees don't produce seeds. Really excited about some of the initial characteristics of these seedlings. I really wonder if over the years the same characteristics will stay. Interesting to see all the variety from one tree as well. :)

Every one of the seedlings has a new combination of genes so each one is slightly different. Even those with leaves similar to the mother are different in other ways so none of these can be Shishigashira but every single one can be something special.
As @Bonsai Nut says, the huge variety is one of the attractions.

Hi. Congrats on those lil guys! I live in the US and have been searching for quite awhile and can’t find any for sale. If you ever want to sell a few, I’d be super stoked. Cheers.
