Hello, I have a japanese Juniper in normal and it's starting to brown? I saw an earlier post and realized it may not be a japanese Juniper? I water him every 5-7 days and give him sun before 10 or after 6. I also mist him to keep him happy and he's been fertilized once. He's started to turn brown on one side though and it's been spreading. I don't know if he needs more sun or less sun or more water? Any advice would be appreciated.

Every 5-7 days is likely too long in between waterings, even if the soil doesn't drain well. If water doesn't pool on the soil surface, then you probably should be watering daily. I'm not sure where you're located, which could play into how often it needs watering right now also.

I'm near Sacramento so it's been hot but I keep him indoors so it's only 75 degrees ish? And I fully soak him for 10 minutes every give days? Should he be soaked daily?

Does the tree live inside permanently? A juniper will not survive indoors.

They won't? I bought him s an indoor plant? The instructions also said indoors? It's been around 100 outside most days so I don't know if he'd like it much outside

While its less than ideal during the transition, moving it outdoors is the tree's long-term hope. Keeping it indoors will lead to the results you're starting to see. I'd try to transition it starting in shade for most of the day. There will be some setbacks while it transitions, but if you're able to water when it needs it, the tree will be better for it.
