Picked up this healthy procumbens juniper on consignment at my local club. I bought it mainly for that curvy trunk not often seen with J. procumbens.
It appears to be recently repotted using clean A/P/L equal parts.

There is a shari feature coming up from the base with deadwood up near the top. Not super impressive but something to work with.
No signs of disease and the foliage looks healthy and extending. For some sense of scale, see the Felco pruners resting on the pot in the last pic.

Plan for this year is to let it grow and settle. I think long term this tree might become a good candidate for accepting scion grafts to improve the foliage and get some branches where I want them.

Will post updates as the tree makes progress and of course I'm open to ideas.
