J. This one is is a copy of a Chinese design found frequently. It's about 12" and weighs about 4 #*. I created a die for the side walls now and use the pug mill to extrude the form. Saves just a small amount of time and insures a cleaner form. (yet still have to fuss with it!!) The glaze has been an ongoing experiment to create a patinated bronze look, often found on the Chinese pots. Start at $75.00 (I have seen similar at expos and shows for 3 x this but hey I'm still an 'unknown' among the potters field. I recall Sarah Reiner back in Chicago in the early 90's with her very unusual works yet pots with feet and drain holes. She was and is an excellent craftsperson yet now her works come from molds. Ok, so she has some production. She obviously and I congratulate her on the fact that she supports herself and probably a few workers with the business. Yet once she crossed over into the more 'accepted look' of bonsai pottery, she made the mark. It is very difficult to 'redesign' a form or a facia for a container that has been done so well thousands of years ago that in many cases I feel that design unless it is truly earth shattering, an expression of overstatement that will downgrade the purpose of the pot. Hey, the tree is what we're showing! Not the pot, not the moss, not the appurtenant side dish! Ends Midnight Friday, Jan 17th and ship on Saturday 18th USPS early AM.

I can imagine a fine Korean Hornbeam, Japanese Maple
* I apologize as the first two images are fuzzy IMG_3580_edited copy.jpgIMG_3581_edited.jpgIMG_3582_edited copy.jpgIMG_3583.JPGIMG_3584.JPGIMG_3584_edited.jpgIMG_3585.JPGIMG_3586.JPGIMG_3587.JPGIMG_3589.JPGIMG_3590.JPGIMG_3593.JPGor other similar deciduous tree!

I wish I could Vance, I’m a little short of fun funds at the moment…. Beautiful pot though! Hopefully some will jump on this gem 😉

Awww Matt, I never wish to push sales on folks that way I don’t post but a couple times a month! Ha!
I still am planning a website and have not settled on a good host.
Surprisingly the few that I have looked at are way out of wack when it come to price and setup.
I need a reasonable source as the last time I did anything like this was for my wife’s real estate business and the was fifteenyrs ago and although it was not too bad, Go Daddy screws me on my AMX card by double charging me… had to fight with them and if it was anyone else’s than AMX it would have been a loss.

Have you tried the website builder called Wix? That is what our club uses. I am always so close to buying one of your pots but its kind of like buying shoes where I like to see them in person.

Your pots are beautiful and I love the colors.
