New kid here, sort of. I keep reading about all the JMs and pics of gorgeous trees. But as a beginner who's just learning how to keep trees alive in the desert, I don't want to keep trying to grow broadleaves that just can't make it here. So no more JMs for me, at least for now. The Big Tooth is native to the Chihuahua Desert, so I would like to see what I can create with the species. If anyone has a couple dozen extra, I would be interested to make a deal. I'm fairly certain I will be able to germinate the seeds outside over the winter.
Thanks for any input, advice, or contact suggestions.

Did a quick seed search, not much availability. If you have access to a tree, would it be to late to try cuttings?

So did I. I didn't want to trouble anyone here, but, as you said, there aren't a whole lot available, unless I want to send a branch from my own trunk to cover the cost of a nursery tree. I haven't seen any locally, but I also haven't stopped looking. Keeping my fingers crossed. I took some Siberian Elm cuttings about 3 weeks ago, and several have new growth already. First frost is usually late October, but it ranges from early October to early/mid-December, so it might work if I keep them very well protected over winter.
