Evidenced by the compacted microphylls to the stem. Would make a nice accent plant, imo. Going to try and collect some tomorrow from the same location. Need to dig up the rhizome apparently so I'll likely take a swath of area from beneath the plant.
Download the app iNaturalist and take a picture of anything you want to ID, it’s AI algorithms will try to identify it and if it can’t it will suggest species and eventually someone else will come along and ID it
In the post about the possible Magnolia, I suggested Selaginella instead of Lycopodium. After checking the Wikipedia article, I saw I was confused. It is indeed one of the Lycopodium.
