I recently collected this Amur honeysuckle from my yard. It was about 5 feet tall. I chopped the main trunk down quite a bit. After two weeks it is aggressively budding. I pinched most of the buds that I know are in terrible spots. Which of the rest of these buds should I keep? What do you guys think for the future of the tree?

None of them at this point. One of the cardinal rules of collecting is to let ALL growth pretty much alone for a year or so. Even though this is a strong invasive species, it's not immortal. It needs to recover before you start working on it.

For now buds feed roots

Worry about what's good and what's not when it has survived at least a year!
