Tropical storm or possibly Category 1 hurricane for my area this weekend.

I'll be battening down the hatches tomorrow when things are a bit more certain.

We have a few members in this area. I wish them all well. We have had enough of late.

Take care, hope it passes you by.

My area is under voluntary evacuation. So far the models say that the storm will stay East of me. If the predictions are true, I'm OK. I'm worrying about Bill however. He's in the New Orleans area and they have some severe flooding already.

Good luck and stay safe.
My daughter lives in N.E. Texas and they lost power already from some storm that blew through this afternoon.

The Rolling Stones concert was not cancelled, just pushed to Monday...

Water is coming over some of the back levees. Pray for Louisiana y'all.
At my place it's not too bad. Just some wind that knocks fruits off trees and strips leaves.
The amount of rainfall predicted is just scary. Please be safe.

You are experienced...we got this alert on our phone earlier. We are in Slidell LA. On Vacation... @Cajunrider

I see a parking lot near us has moved their districts buses there I assume for higher ground.

Our hotel is packed... assuming from locals nearer the water.

Final tally:
1. Waste pump station at the wharf. $1000
2. Wharf boards knocked away by the waves. $500
3. Half my azaleas and camelias and some BCs pots got blown into my neighbor's pond. I'm still trying to find the Satsuki bonsai I got from Mellow Mullet.

Damn....but you're alive!

I'm all good. Still we haven't heard from Bill. I hope he's alright. Funny we haven't met but I already feel connected.

All family here, it's obvious, we barely get along!!

Glad it's just money lost and not something that counts. Nice to hear your safe.
