Hi there
Im new here and already nees some help. I didn't find any useful information on the forum and on the internet.
My p. afra Bonsai is dropping its leaves. First they get red spots and after that the leaves fall off. There is no root rot, the soil is well drained. First i thout about fungus. I defoliated the whole tree and uses some anti fungus spray. After a few weeks the red dots start to appear again. I also found some white web but no spider mites (looks like a normal spider web to me). Some of my other plant have got thrips. On my Afrta i couldn't find a single thrip.

I have been taking care of the plant for over 20 years
Pls help me, i dont want to loose it :(

They say these warty growths are caused by overwatering, but I am not convinced I think it is more a virus but does not kill the plant.
Further, if you pluck off those damaged leaves and the plant does not regain so many, it would seem a disease rather than watering issues.
These bumps are common and won't harm your plant,

I go with overwatering.
