Help, white bugs on soil

Help please how do I get rid of the bugs :,( I’ve never had a plant before was watering it 2-3 times a week and spraying the leaves everyday. Thank you

I think they are springtails which are harmless

I'd be considering fungus gnats which are common in organic soils indoors and overwatered.
I'm assuming the plant is serissa.
I'm assuming kept indoors.
I'm assuming regular watering rather than watering as soil requires.
