Help me identify this tree!

I saw a handful of these trees while in SoCal last week. I love the tree structure and bright red flower. It pops!

Can anyone name the tree? Bonus points if anyone can guess the location.

Looks like that might be Erythrina - coral tree. And I'd guess that's Balboa Park

Very close... SDSU campus..

We were checking out schools for my daughter and SDSU had the best collection of trees on their campus compared to the other schools!
