Hello everyone, I would like to check what species of pine this is? Thanks

It appears to be a white pine species.
Please check the needles. White pines usually have needles in bunches of 5.
That brings the ID down to around 7 species in the white pine section of the pine family.
After that I can't help you get further with the ID because I don't know what the differences are between the different species of white pines.

I note that the wires should have been removed a couple of years ago and have now caused considerable scarring on the trunk. Hopefully you can still get the wires off without causing too much damage to the rest of the bark.

Thank you so much. Just bought the plant, and indeed noticed the scaring...going to remove the wires soon...hope the scars can recover a bit

Looks like an imported Japanese White Pine. Wires are long overdue for removal as is the case with many imports. Its rather important to know you climate. Please put youir location in your profile so you can get the appropriate response for your tree in your area.
Welcome and best of luck.
