They were calling for hail over 2 inches wide. So I left my trees in the greenhouse. I had not set them back out from two nights of hard frost.

It hit so hard... half our serving area is without power. We may be restored by Friday. Running generator.

Trees down in our ravine... ripped from the ground. Trees on neighboring homes...on vehicles and the new peoples boat. No one is hurt... lines down everywhere though.

School had let out. Busses...were trapped on roads with down power lines and trees. But no one I've heard hurt. Thank goodness.

I was so glad...once it passed by. That my trees were not on the benches. That was a doozy of a storm.

Anyone else get the nasty storms yesterday?

We got hit by a similar storm Easter weekend. Trees and power poles down everywhere some people still without power it ripped the porch roof off my parents house and their gutters and took down their huge old maple tree. We were under a watch for last nights storm but luckily we just received rain.

Lots of storms down here in Texas, hid my favorite trees under the benches and in the shed. We got hit by golf ball hail a few weeks ago that left tons of damage on my trees so I took no chance this time around.

Oh geesh...crazy ones are still without power yet.

Glad you were spared from yesterday's storm. It was so loud...We never heard any trees fall. Where we were in the basement we were on the side near the ravine. The entire thing came in so loud. You could hear it coming. Like a loud vehicle.

Hail can be so damaging. Last year it busted windows out of our neighbor's daughter's home. Hate hearing your trees took damage.

Thunder woke me from a sound sleep at 3:30 Monday morning and lightening was so bright through the bedroom window, I was sure it hit the house. No real damage, just limbs down and we lost power briefly. It's been pretty much raining on and off for days. I live in an agricultural area and the farmers are getting restless, unable to plant with all of this rain.

I live in rural farm land. Grew up early years on a working farm. I can understand that.

Glad to hear everyone’s ok. Mother Nature can be a piece of work.
Thanks... more risk of severe storms...and I noticed my front yard tree needs taken down. The earth has cracked around it and buckled. How it didn't go the last storm. I've got one taking it down over the weekend. I can move the tree with my hand...and the soil gives. I'm nervous...its leaning towards my home. I believe my trees will stay in the greenhouse. Winds aren't to be as strong...but...if I can move the tree with one hand. Do I want to risk 40 mph winds and the change it falls and takes out my bonsai benches? I think...the trees will remain in the greenhouse.

Thanks, honestly just grateful that was the only damage we took. Garages are a life saver for the cars.
