Heavy branch won't bend for trying? HA!

You'll note in the photo on the left that there is a heavy branch going off to the rear at the top of the tree. It isn't contributing much to the design. Further, it's depth is such that the tree really seems to be growing off into the back. It's a falling-backward effect.

The branch was too heavy to bend, even if I did use raffia and a branch bender. Let me know if you can figure out what I did to get a heavy branch to submit to my will.

One other thing. There's one other thing. Let me know if you see the little detail.

The rear left branch looks to thick to me.

I would cut it back to the thinner branch going back right, and start to create your depth from there.
