I noticed a few of my trident Maples and elms have a white stain on some of the leaves but I can't tell if it's just hardwater stains or powdery mildew.

Some look like water stains

But some look different. When I try wiping it off with my finger, it does come off easily but stays along the veins-- which makes sense because they're more recessed than the surface so my finger doesn't quite reach that. 20240723_190446.jpg20240723_190403.jpg20240723_190340.jpg

Any ideas? I sprayed them with Daconil 7/11 so I'd find it weird if it is mildew but 🤷

Probably the daconil still on there
I thought thag too but I'm out there watering multiple times a day and I look at each tree looking for caterpillars (and as of a week ago, grasshoppers lol) and haven't seen that until today so I didn't think so. But I guess it could be
