Found this guy growing in my Georgia house. Im in Florida and went to Georgia to check on my house and found this guy growing in the gutter. I absolutely saved it. The root system is amazing and shallow and perfect for a shallow pot. It's a silver maple. We have several around the yard and neighbors. Now its here with me in Florida.

Very cool gutter tree. I just cleaned out a bunch of honey locust volunteers from the garage gutter last weekend. None as big as that silver maple though!

Pitoon you are most likely correct. I seen it last fall and just failed to get it. Then I forgot and got busy and went back finally to work on the house and said im getting that dude right now. I also saved another that was growing in my fire pit. I didnt see it until after I started the fire and the top got scorched but the roots were deep and looked great. So im really hoping that one comes back in the spring
