Growing over tiles

Looks like the trees have enough room to grow. Haven't found colanders here yet... These look like perfect sized.

Plastic Colanders Here is where I'm buying these colanders in bulk for cheap prices. Just be aware that if they sit outside in the sun and get all the UV rays the plastic deteriorates and will crack and be unusable within a few years. Just FYI

+1 for TigerChef colanders. They’ve been the best balance of price, shape, and durability I’ve found so far. Their shipping ends up quite reasonably priced for larger orders.

I got a new shipment of colanders to plant even more of my 1-2 y/o seedlings into individual containers.
It seems that the black/red pines I put into individual pots have also survived the transfer, their candles have begun elongating! Yay success!
The pines planted in the ground also seem to be doing fine.
The trident maples seem to have survived also, these are planted through tiles. The upper portions seem to have been damaged by the winter as all the growth is coming from the bases.
I hope that in the near future after candles/leaves have started to harden off I can add some wire and place movement into most of the trees this year.

I would imagine they did well but if potted middle of last year, next year they will probably really rocket!

I think when planting in ground the first season they Are finding their feet then next season they really stand up tall.
