Wanted to start a seperate thread from the one in the "new to bonsai" section so I can keep track of it without filling up that section every time.

how I got it just over a year ago from Wigert's nursery in florida

Attempts at wiring/defoliation and then final picture here is just over 1 month from defoliation. after putting a bit more of a bend in the trunk. Current plan is just let it grow till next spring and then start cutting back on the length a bit.
