I've seen many on here think they are a hoader but they only have a few benches of trees. @19Mateo83 thinks he has what it takes to be the founder. I have seen a few benches but still not convinced he has what it takes.
Am running for the president of Bonsainut hoarder club.

I literally emailed my town's code enforcement office today asking if I'm allowed to set up a "self-service" plant stand in my front yard to sell plants.

I might have a propagation problem. I need to learn how to throw away cuttings (and not plant the 100 seeds that come out of 2 Cyclamen seed pods).

Well, considering I started at the beginning of fall... here's a pic of both sides of my porch a couple of months ago. Not counting what was in the greenhouse or in front of it. Nor the couole dozen trees I have aquired since then...or my benches, or the trees in the field I planted. I may not be the biggest hoarder, but at the rate im going...I may need to attend support meetings.

The only reason I've not reached Namnhi Hoarder level status is that my wife tends to make me move half way across the country every decade or so... it really does tend to keep things in check when the most that you can hoard long term has to get stuffed into a rental moving van periodically...

Come to think of it, I have 36 more trees from Evergreen Gardenworks alone, since those 2 photos I posted were taken. I'd estimate I've bought 50ish trees in the last 3 months... and probably dug up 25 or so around the time of the photo... I try not to keep track as to not conflict with my acquisition disorder.

I started in January. Got up to 20 trees and 13 cuttings on their way, in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment. But I had 3 of my trees stolen from my back porch on Wednesday. It was quite the shock! Life hasn't been great and these trees have become such a source of peace (and frustration Damned bugs!) in the current tumultuous times. So it was kind of a kick in the teeth while I was down. My local club has been fantastic in their love. Basically strangers, they've helped a lot! Anyway, I see this on this forum too. Good peeps!

Not sure if I'll qualify for the hoarder club, just yet. But one can only aspire

My justification for all this has been.... trees keep me calm and relax. I think am in a denial state.
