@StoneCloud ,

I don't know how much this will help.
Also why I suggest taking Art Classes.

[1] Be aware that the professionals taught in Japan, look for trees that have
the correct proportions of a tree. So all they do is prune off and wire.
Looks impressive.

Ask what is done before a demonstration, and how the trees are carefully selected
to be worked on.

[2] Here is [a ] a plan for a tree from scratch
a tree that has been designed and the cutting or seedling will be grown into
the design.

Always remember trunk size and radial roots first, plus first 6 branches.
If you can, a design to know where to go.

You can image a tree you like and simple print an image in black and white,
then trace off the branching and canopy. Roots as well.
Good Day

Thank you I've saved the sketches for reference I appreciate it!

I've got some seedlings that are just breaking ground, a maple sapling and a few ficus and rosemary cuttings that have rooted as well.

I'm going to get some plans together for them and then execute them as you have described. Plan then grow.

I usually go with what the tree tells me. As it has initially came to my possession and as it grows. However this approach will be fun it'll be nice to see what comes.

Once I get them going I'll get them posted.

Cheers!!
