First work on a little Sierra Juniper

I collected this little gem a couple of years ago with a Forest Service permit near Silver Lake, CA. Most of the roots were under a huge boulder so it took several hours of tunneling and cutting roots to get it out with the help of friend Jerry (Daizamaker). It has been growing strongly so I decided it was ready for work.

I prefer natural foliage in most cases so I'll probably keep this one real. I do have one kishu to Sierra project underway that needs a few years to look good.
