Your photos are from so far back I can't even see the wiring to make any comment.
Al. wire can be used on any tree. You just need a thicker piece to bend the same branch a thin copper wire would hold.
The branches appear to be very long. Have you thought about pruning some of them to make the tree more compact? Trunk is also quite thin for it's current height. I usually loom for a convenient side branch that's shorter so I can remove a lot of the main trunk. That makes the tree shorter and gives the new trunk some valuable taper.
It appears the main trunk is wired right up to the top but it doesn't look like you've put much bend into the trunk. Is that just for wiring practice? No point in wiring anything you are not going to bend.
Similar comment on the branch wiring. I can see you've lowered the branches at the trunk but from there they are all still very straight. I was going to suggest putting some bends into the branches but the trunk is very straight so makes sense that the branches will also be straight.
Good luck with Blue Point. I tried a couple of those upright conical cultivars many years ago but found that they always want to grow up instead of out. Eventually I gave up on them as bonsai.
